Timothy E.M. Stinson

As a Managing Director, Tim Stinson is responsible for directing Fortigent’s business development strategies. He is an industry veteran with over 15 years of experience working with registered investment advisors, comprehensive wealth managers, and banks. 

Before joining Fortigent, Tim was a Managing Director with SEI for 15 years. During his tenure he held various leadership roles in product development, operations, sales, and sales management. He was instrumental in the build out of SEI’s Investment Advisory Business and managed sales and service teams in both the Western and Northeastern United States during his career. He is recognized as a “pioneer” for developing business consulting strategies with advisors.   Prior to his financial services career, Tim was a procurement officer for the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency. As a procurement officer, he was responsible for negotiating contracts for the U.S. military. 

Tim received a B.S. from Saint Joseph’s University in Marketing. He also attended the University of Pennsylvania Wharton Business School’s Executive Management Program. He also holds the NASD Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses.
