Sharon H. McEvoy
Director, MarketingAs Director of Marketing, Sharon is responsible for overseeing sales, marketing and branding strategies. Her responsibilities include directing the development of marketing and sales programs, materials, and publications; overseeing internal and external conference and exhibit planning; and managing sales and marketing team initiatives and strategies designed to position Fortigent as a leader in the marketplace. She is a member of the firm's Marketing Committee and a co-founder of the Community Services Initiative Committee, which is responsible for ensuring that Fortigent gives back to the community through local charity work and fundraising.
Before Sharon joined Fortigent, she worked for several years as an Associate Director at Lydian Wealth Management, where she was responsible for overseeing institutional relationships, servicing of client advisor relationships, and managing the needs of individual investors. Her experience at the company, which served the ultra high net worth investor, also included responsibility for operations-related functions such as trading, account opening, wire transfers and compliance. Before entering the field of wealth management, Sharon worked as a Director and Teacher for a child development center in Washington, DC for 6 years.

Sharon earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work, with honors, from The Catholic University of America and holds the FINRA Series 65 license.
