Andrew Putterman, CPA

President & Chief Executive Officer

With over 20 years of experience managing corporate operations and financial matters, Andy Putterman ensures that Fortigent consistently delivers the highest level of service and quality to its clients. His primary focus is on strategic planning, corporate culture, growth, and new services. He is also a member of Fortigent’s Investment Quality Assurance Committee and Product Development Committee.

Prior to joining the firm, Andy  served as Senior Vice President of the Sigal Companies, a real estate development and construction company based in Washington, D.C. From 1981 through 1986 he was employed as a public accountant, most notably for the firm of Leventhal & Horwath, CPAs. Andy earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton, and became a Certified Public Accountant in 1982. He also obtained specialized taxation expertise from Georgetown University's Masters in Taxation program. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 28, 63, and 65 licenses.
