Laurie Ressin, CFA
Managing Director, ConsultingLaurie Ressin oversees the Consulting Group for Fortigent. She consults with Fortigent clients and team members on issues including asset allocation, manager selection, and performance reporting. She is also involved in designing and implementing the ongoing business strategy for the group.
Laurie brings extensive financial services experience to Fortigent, having spent more than fifteen years as a high net worth investment advisor with Fidelity Investments. She also managed individual portfolios and search and selection, research and ongoing due diligence on individual stocks at Ayrshire Associates. Laurie earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business from the University of Delaware and a M.B.A. (Finance) from the University of Denver, and she holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation as well as the NASD Series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 65 licenses.
