Claire Kluever
| Claire Kluever, Managing Director, Member Development, has been with Family Office Exchange for over 15 years. As head of Member Development, Ms. Kluever works with families and their wealth advisors to identify key areas of interest where Family Office Exchange can assist by providing educational tools, custom advice and appropriate peer networking opportunities. In her role, Ms. Kluever also works closely with the Research Group by identifying and gathering market intelligence on key industry trends and developments. Prior to her role leading member development, Ms. Kluever managed twelve Strategic Advisor relationships delivering research and custom advice on market trends, business management strategies, and market positioning. Prior to her work in the strategic advisor area, she spent ten years in the FOX consulting department where she successfully completed over 50 family office retained search projects and consulted with over 50 family offices on family office structures and services, employee compensation and benefits, and employee recruitment and retention strategies. In 1994, 1999, 2002, and 2004, Ms. Kluever led teams in conducting major industry benchmarking studies on family office compensation and benefit practices. She is a frequent presenter on topics related to strategies for building a successful wealth management business, effective wealth management servicing models, compensation and recruitment, and family office trends and issues. She has spoken at The Institute for International Research Family Office Forum, Institutional Investor's Women in Wealth Seminar, World President's Organization, Metropolitan Circle, FOX Fall Forum, FOX Wealth Advisor Conference and many regional group and individual family office and advisor member meetings. Formerly an account executive for The Bankers Group in Chicago, Claire handled search assignments for major domestic and international banks in trust, accounting, operations, private banking, and capital markets. Claire was selected for the Management Fellows Honors Program at DePauw University, where she earned her bachelor of arts in economics in 1984. |
