Adam I. Cohen, CFA

Director, Fixed Income Investments

Adam Cohen is the Director of Fixed Income Investments and has the primary responsibility for researching, selecting, and monitoring fixed income investments for Fortigent’s advisors. Adam also assists in Fortigent’s asset allocation and portfolio construction processes and is a member of the Investment Committee and Investment Quality Assurance Committee. 

Prior to joining Fortigent, Adam was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Atlantic Trust. In this capacity he managed both tax exempt and taxable bond portfolios and acted as a relationship manager. Adam also held fixed income analyst roles at Stein Roe Investment Counsel and two major international banks.
 
Adam earned a Master’s of Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance from Loyola University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business, a Bachelor of Arts in History from The College of Wooster, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Adam is a member of the CFA Institute, CFA Societies of Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD, as well as the Washington Association of Money Managers. Adam also holds the FINRA Series 66 license.
