The Director of Consulting will manage existing advisor relationships and assist the Regional Director in transitioning and implementing new relationships. The Director will build the service platform to enhance the company's offerings of wealth management, consulting and performance reporting services. He/she will focus on retention of current Advisors, increased revenue and scalability. The Director is responsible for the supervision and leadership of a team, managing the overall productivity and output of all direct reports. He/she will manage employees related to performance planning, mentoring, coaching, career development and role development. The Director will facilitate and lead training sessions for new Fortigent Advisors during the transition stage and will lead meetings and calls for Advisors on investment, reporting, practice management or industry issues. The Director will oversee conversion of historical data, account on-boarding and initial setup of performance reports. He/she will provide support of software development projects and requirements-gathering for those projects. The Director will provide business acumen to Fortigent Advisors and will demonstrate a mastery of portfolio operations, as well as mastery knowledge of investment analytics and performance reporting processes. He/she will formulate and apply data analysis and information used for decision making by management and will be responsible for managing internal projects for the Advisors from inception to delivery, including follow-up. The Director will report and be reviewed by the Regional Director/s.

An Associate Director of Conversions is responsible for the successful onboarding of newly contracted advisory firms (Fortigent's clients) to Fortigent's performance reporting platform. The Associate Director of Conversions will be expected to lead and manage client conversion projects, internal and external project resources, data conversion, and client relationships. The candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills. The Associate Director will be reporting directly to the Director of Conversions. A superior customer service and team player work ethic is an overriding responsibility for this role.

Fortigent's research department provides strategic and tactical asset allocation advice, evaluates institutional money management firms and maintains a recommended list of investments for both traditional and alternative investment products.
The Research Analyst position will be responsible for:
• Assisting the Research department with money manager due dilligence for long-only equity managers by producing reports and compiling both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Preparing materials for conference calls with money managers, as well as participating and writing robust call summaries.
• Gathering capital markets data and constructing spreadsheets and charts.
• Performing special research projects as necessary
• 1-4 years experience in the investment industry; experience with institutional money managers and/or mutual funds in an investment consulting or wealth management environment preferred.
• General understanding of financial markets, investment products, and the financial services industry is a plus.
• Intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Bloomberg, eVestment Alliance, Morningstar Direct, and Informa PSN.
• An interest in working in a team environment.
